Lots of Bulb members use social media and messaging apps (like WhatsApp) to refer their friends and family to Bulb. It's a great way to boost your energy account balance and help your nearest and dearest to lower their bills, along with their carbon emissions. We're open for business as usual and welcoming lots of new Bulb members. We handle every energy switch remotely, so your friend's power supply won't be interrupted if they choose to sign up.
As we explained in our last blog post, you can refer through your Bulb account or on the app, but you can also share your link on your social channels. When you do, it'll look something like this:
Anyone who signs up to Bulb by clicking on your link counts as a referral. You and your friend will get £50 each if they switch both gas and electricity. And it's £25 if they switch just the one. It takes around three weeks for a switch to go through. You can keep track of the people you've referred (and the money you've earned) in your Bulb account.
